WELCOME TO OUR WEBSITE
Welcome to The Bexhill Model Railway Club.
The Bexhill MRC is a small but well-established model railway club formed in 1969.
The club has around 30 members, several of whom are highly skilled and experienced in the many areas of expertise required to produce high quality models. There are those with less experience who wish to learn and the more experienced members are always ready to share their knowledge. In addition to the primary modelling activity, we also arrange social events and trips which often involve wives and partners.
The club has its own clubrooms off Clifford Road in Bexhill Town Centre and meets regularly throughout the week. If you are interested in model railways or wish to develop your skills then we would be delighted to hear from you, for more information including details of how to join, please send us an e-mail or give us a call all details are on the “Contacts” page.
The club has built and exhibited layouts more or less continuously throughout its existence and currently has “Detford”, a 'OO' Finescale layout, "Sewel", an 'O' gauge NG 16.5mm layout, an unnamed N Gauge Layout, a DCC Automation Layout plus three new build layouts in O, OO and N

Layouts built by the club are often exhibited at Exhibitions throughout the south east and sometimes further afield, for details of other Exhibitions and if a Bexhill MRC layout is due to be featured, please see the "Layout Roster" page.
Most members have or are building their own layouts and members often provide support to others, particularly when member’s layouts are being exhibited. Members interests cover all the major scales from 2mm/N gauge to 7mm/O gauge including P4 (true scale in 4mm/ft).
The club hosts an annual Exhibition on the second Saturday in August, to show the very best of the hobby including its own models. See the "Exhibition" page for details.
